Decker
Producer/Writer

Decker began her career working every scrap production job she could get her hands on. After moving to New York, where she continued working production, she landed a coveted position as a story analyst with Furthur Films, Michael Douglas's production company. There she was encouraged by the producing team to learn all aspects of what it takes to get a studio film financed and produced.

A strong recommendation from Furthur Films led to a position as a story analyst with Tribeca Films TAA Connects Program in addition to production work ranging from Unit Production Manager to Producer on various television commercials, music videos and independent films in New York.

In 2006, Decker formed NYCe Pictures, a feature film production company. The company's first film was Once Upon a Film, written and directed by Decker. The film secured distribution through Cinetic Rights Management, founded by independent film financer John Sloss and former Creative Artist Agency (CAA) super agent Bart Walker.

Once Upon a Film had a successful festival run; the film garnered several awards, including the Jury Award at Bluegrass Independent Film Festival and Best Feature Film at Secret City Film Festival.

Decker will direct the feature film Homeplace, a musical about a pair misfit kids growing up in Small Town, Texas during the 70's, co produced by Mark Campbell Productions and Luck Films, Willie Nelson's production studio, starring award winning actors Shirley Henderson (Marie Antoinette, Bridget Jones' Diary, Harry Potter) and Willie Nelson (Electric Horseman, Songwriter, Honeysuckle Rose). Legendary jazz musician Leon Redbone (Elf) will be producing all of the music. Production is scheduled for spring 2012.

Other projects in development at NYCe Pictures include Cellophane, a heartfelt drama about family secrets; Let's Go, a rock and roll musical set to the music of the Ramones about a group of teenagers surviving their last summer after high school in New York City; I Put a Spell on You, the true story of Nina Simone; and The Chosen, an episodic television series about a New Orleans detective on the hunt for a serial killer while trying to cope with her real life.

In addition to Homeplace, Decker is producing One Lucky Moon, a new film by Academy Award nominee Peter Bogdanovich (Last Picture Show, Paper Moon, Mask), and the period drama Cottonwood with Mark Campbell Productions, a film set during the 1937 Dust Bowl.
